Minimum hourly rate in 2027 — what changes for temporary workers

The minimum wage and the minimum hourly rate are announced every year by a regulation of the Council of Ministers. Here is how to check whether your contract meets them.
Who the hourly rate applies to
The minimum hourly rate applies to civil contracts (umowa zlecenie) and service contracts. Employment contracts follow the monthly minimum wage — converted to hours it is a similar amount.
How to check your contract
- Find the gross hourly amount in your contract.
- Compare it with the current rate published in Monitor Polski.
- If yours is lower, you are entitled to back pay. Write to us — we will help.
Watch out for deductions
Accommodation or transport costs may only be deducted with your written consent and only up to the limits set by law.
